Modern Slavery Statement — Lawn Mower Group
Lawn Mower is committed to eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking from our operations and supply chains. This zero-tolerance policy is central to our corporate responsibility and reflects our core values. We will not tolerate forced labour, bonded labour, or human trafficking in any part of our business. Every supplier, contractor and partner must meet our expectations and we will enforce compliance through contractual obligations and proactive oversight.
Our commitment covers the manufacture, distribution and sale of lawn mowers, ride-on mowers and related products across all territories. We engage with a wide network of suppliers, often referred to as lawnmower suppliers, OEM partners and logistics providers. To reduce risk we map our supply chain, identify high-risk tiers, and prioritize resources to areas with greater vulnerability to modern slavery and exploitation.
We conduct systematic supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance. Audit activities include:
- On-site inspections and worker interviews;
- Document reviews of payroll, working hours and recruitment practices;
- Corrective action plans where gaps are identified.
Reporting and Escalation
We provide multiple reporting channels to enable workers, suppliers and stakeholders to raise concerns about exploitation or non-compliance. Our reporting mechanisms are designed to be accessible and to protect reporters from retaliation. Reports are triaged by our compliance team and escalated to senior management when required.
Reporters can use anonymous channels, whistleblowing hotlines and internal reporting forms. All allegations are treated with confidentiality. We operate a strict non-retaliation policy: any employee or third party who reports in good faith will be protected. Allegations are investigated thoroughly and impartially, and outcomes are recorded and actioned.
We require that suppliers embed similar reporting opportunities within their workplaces. During audits we evaluate grievance mechanisms, worker communication practices and the accessibility of reporting channels. Training modules are delivered to procurement teams and supplier managers to ensure consistent handling of disclosures.
Governance, Audits and Annual Review
Our governance framework assigns clear responsibilities for modern slavery risk management. The board receives regular updates and our compliance function oversees implementation of policies. Supplier audits are scheduled based on risk profiling, and findings feed into continuous improvement plans. When serious violations are confirmed, remedial measures include worker restitution, supplier remediation programs and, when necessary, contract termination.
We operate a formal annual review process to assess the effectiveness of our policies and procedures. This review covers audit outcomes, incident reports, training uptake and supply chain changes. Results are used to refine our approach to due diligence, strengthen contractual clauses for the supply base, and allocate resources where they are most needed to mitigate modern slavery risks in the Lawn-Mower sector.
In closing, Lawn Mower reaffirms its zero-tolerance position and commitment to continuous improvement. We will continue to work collaboratively with suppliers, industry partners, civil society and regulators to eliminate modern slavery from all parts of our business and supply chain. This statement will be reviewed annually and updated to reflect developments in our operations, lessons learned from audits, and evolving best practice.
